So, I found out how to finally add a tail to my tiefling through this post ( Click Here ), and if you'd like, you can also use this method for Neeshka.
Here are a couple screenshots before I tell you how to do it.
http://xs308.xs.to/xs308/06455/lillyfront.PNG http://xs308.xs.to/xs308/06455/lillyback.png Edit: Put in better screenshots, sorry for the size.
Just for the purposes of adding a tail, though, I'll guide you through step by step.
First, you need this program: Click Here
Download it and extract the contents, and then open it up. You want to navigate to your saved games directory (should be in the NWN2 directory in My Documents) and go into whichever save folder you want to edit. In there, thre'll be some files. For your main character, you want playerlist.ifo. For a companion NPC, like say, Neeshka, you want to open the ROS-_____.ros files (i.e. ROS-neeshka.ros).
Now that you've got it open, you want to click the little +'s to drop down all the options. Once a long list of stuff is collapses, scroll down until you find Tail, and highlight it.
To your right, you'll see a number 0. Take that 0 and change it to a 6 if you're female, or an 8 if you're male. Now, this'll give you a tail, but it doesn't have any color yet, it's pasty white. So after you do that, find the very first 'Tintable' dropdown. Dropdown 'Tint' inside of it. Then drop down '1'. Those numbers control the color. R is Red, Green is G, and B is blue. Admittedly, I have no idea what a is. To edit the numbers, do like you did before, highlight and edit the numbers to the right.
Now, personally, I wanted my tail to match my skin color. So what I did was collapse Tint_Head > Tintable > Tint > 1, and copied those numbers from there.
After you do all this, save. Word of warning though, make sure the very last entry you edited isn't highlighted or that part will stay the same as it was before.
This all works rather well, and the tails have good animations. The only downside is the fact that the tail clips with most cloaks (though some of the shorter cloaks should be alright).
Thanks to Zylch, without this post I couldn't be making this one. Enjoy your tails. There are lots of fun things in the GFF Editor to be tinkered with, so I recommend you visit Zylch's post ( Click Here ), and give it a bump if you would.Edited By Kataclysmic on 11/10/06 04:09 |

Bookmarked that tweak file your keeping. One day I will refer to it when I am done with the campaign and a few builds and read to move forth with the mods. |

Be sure to include the stuff from Zylch's post as well, Visceral. I just felt that this needed a general discussion post though, not to mention a more specific guide focused on adding a tail - he didn't include how to mess around with the color, just that you could.
The GFF editor is an excellent way to edit your character. I've changed my skill points around a few times when I noticed certain things like Sleight of Hand were kind of useless in NWN2's OC.
There's also a neverdrawhelmet option that you can switch to '1' if you hate how your helm/hat looks. Likewise, you can switch this to 0 on your companions so their's shows up.Edited By Kataclysmic on 11/10/06 04:17 |

That's hot. Now to find a UI mod that allows tail selection at Tiefling creation! |

That's awesome!
I just might do this when I revisit my tiefling. Playing Aasimar just isn't the same. |

Great stuff! But I think I'm missing something....
Copied the RBG values to where exactly? There is no Tintable_Tails section? I must be tired but where in the file would I copy these values too?

Interesting. Can you give me a one or two line write up and how to do that? I'll add it. |

If only they left that thing on Neeshka. Then I would have something I could "accidently" step on every time she whined about my duty to Do The Right Thing (tm) without need for a reward. |

If only there was a way to hide cloaks. I haven't found any way to do so thus far.Edited By Kataclysmic on 11/10/06 05:03 |

Got it, I didn't see how the program works before asking. |

I'm positive. For example:
Me: "Let's go rescue these children."
Neeshka: "But it taaaaaaakes too long and we're not getting paaaaaaiid! Wahhh!"
Elanee: "No he's right, the children are in danger."
Neeshka: "But my coiiiiin puuuuurse! Gold is so much more important than helping kids out!"
[Neeshka Influence: -1]
And sure enough, the kids are about to be eaten by a large pack of wolves. |
