Since the 1.05 patch, plenty of NPCs I come across through my pre 1.05 savegames are flagged as slightly injuried, injuried, or even rarely badly injuried.
Issue doesnt appear with new games, and more often than not concerns mainly non-hostiles (though some of these become hostiles and remain wounded, like many bosses).
It seems like if the patch had increased some npc's max HPs but didnt touch their current HP levels or some such.
Anyone else had this issue? |

Well I have only noticed that a lot of NPCs are not "uninjured" since the 1.05 patch. It is quite common. Even merchants whom if you take the time to heal, on a later visit to them they are back to an injured status.
There doesn't seem to be a way to heal them permanently and it is just a waste of a precious healing kit.
Incidently, this has no bearing (for me) on pre 1.05 saved games. A fresh start at NWN2 with Patch 1.05 reveals this misnomer.
Not complaining, just repling to the OP with my feedback on observations. |

Yep, same problem here (injuried NPCs). |

Kudos to Obsidian if this was an attempt at making them more durable or challenging. The game was too easy.
Now, just get them healed up, will ya |

Seeing the head cheese on his throne next to deaths door made me wonder if the plague might have come back to town. Even some the the healers are sick.
Must be a bug that is going round... |

Well I've seen this with brand new games, so my theory is that they where always "injured", but was not noticable since there was no health message present before 1.05 to indicate such thing. _________________ Spell Fixes compilation for NWN2 Feat Selection Fixes for NWN2 |

It's simply a bug.
Theyre max hp is not taken from the hiotpoints defined in the toolset, but from what they could have, had the builder clicked on "set on max hp" .... in many cases you either leave it another way, cause hp arent important, or you manually decide on a certain hp level or you click "set on half hp".
but, as the base hp still comes from the max hp setting, they are all infured. _________________ Weltentor - German PW Project NWN 1/2 |

I guess we can always pretend that the life of the commoner (or average NPC) is tough and they are continually suffering from some kind of malady. Maybe that's why they are too weak to fend for themselves and always ask us to quest for them. |

This bug has been around in previous patches, at least for custom NPCs created in the toolset. The real question is whether there is a fix other than bumping up everyone's hp to one of the default max options. |

I mentioned this in the beta, but I was informed that it started in the 1.04 patch. |
