1 - I am double checking to see if the manual comes with the actual download but I do know that we are working on adding it to ftp://ftp.atari.com/manuals/pc/ where we try keep copies of all PC manuals for downloads after they launch. It should be there soon.
2 - Not exactly sure... There are too many variables to say but it should be relatively fast.I do know that at home I have gotten speeds of about 1.5mbs a sec at times on my home DSL. It really varies on your connection, etc. _________________ Matt L. Digital Distribution Producer Atari, Inc. |

1 - Just got an answer to your question. Yes there is a manual in the game itself. It is in the /documentation folder.

I have had bad luck with D2D and other download services, the only one that has really worked in the past is steam.
A few questions, Can we install this on more then one computer? I play at home as well as on my laptop, and i would like to be able to play both of them?
Will patch's come out for this at the same time as the retail version?
Are there any major differences between this and the retail version besides not needing the dvd to play?
Edit* Do we need to be connected to the net at all times to play? Its not uncommon for shaw(calgary alberta) to go down, it would be annoying to have to wait for them to come back up to be able to play.Edited By 6Jess6 on 10/10/07 21:34 |

Dear Matt,
As an Atari representative, I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me about the Mask of the Betrayer release dates.
I live in New Zealand, and for NWN2 fans here, and in Australia, the release date is currently the 25th of October. This is a month after it was released in Europe!! Why is it that we have to wait so long to be able to purchase the game? I understand that the American release date was later because of prior arrangements and commitments with delivery and advertising and so on, but surely that's the not the case here.
Also, why are digital downloads only available for America? I would much prefer to buy a physical copy of the game, but if I could download it legally a month earlier then I would certainly do that. No doubt having a download available in advance would eat into the sales of physical copies of the game, but that seems like a good reason to release MOTB here at the same time as the rest of the world gets it, rather than one month later.
thanks for your time, Scott |

1) Why does the order page need my Paypal email address? When your site directs me to the paypal page, I will login to my account at that time. I am strictly against submitting my Paypal login to anyone other than Paypal. Also, I would rather keep email exchanges from the two companies separate, because if I start receiving spam, I know who the culprit is.
2) What if you do not want a download manager installed? Can you still download the normal way?
3) I would prefer installing the expansion manually, but it appears as though your download-manager automatically does it. What happens to the download zip file after the download-manager installs the game? I assume it does not delete the zip file, correct? _________________ Time, as a coordinate measure, is some times confused with the perception of time. |

The above poster brings up another question.
When i download it do i just get a huge 5gig+ install file, or do i have to use the download manager to install it on any other computer or if i end up reinstalling or building a new computer. I tend to build a new computer, upgrade the cpu or whatever 2 times a year.
It might seem odd, but its easy to make a slip install of xp, pop in the disc and come back in 2 hours with windows fully installed and set up how i like it after a major upgrade. If i have to download the game every time i want to install it(10+hours i am sure), or if a bad patch or random error kills the game, having to spend 10 hours again redownloading it would be a pain.
A single install file i can burn to a dvd would be perfect, having to redownload it every time is a pain, and(sadly) a deal breaker.Edited By 6Jess6 on 10/10/07 21:51 |

Hi Mattlab,
I'm having trouble canceling my NWN2:MotB order... I fill in the form and I am led to an empty page where nothing happens. [url=https://www.digitalriver.com/dr/cs/ec_main.entry11?sp=10342&pn=1#q2]
The reason I'd like to cancel my shipping order is to opt for a Digital Download instead. Any advice?
Thanks,
-- Yriss |
