All right, I'm going back to what I originally planned... Making warlock invocations and feats.
If there's an invocation or warlock feat you would like to see post it here. Be sure to post a detailed description of what it does or at least what book it's in.
If it's custom I may consider it as long as it's not exceedingly overpowered. |

Heh. Figured you'd say that. That's why I want specifics.
I have an idea for disembodied hand, actually.... but I lost my copy of NWN1. Anyone have the script for that grappling hand in HotU?
I would like to do some feats as well. I found this: Click Here but I have not been able to find anything else. Anyone know where to look?
Here's a list of what I have done.. I'll post it on the vault after I set the tlk up. --------
Least -- Serpent's Tongue- gain the scent ability and +5 to poison saves for 24 hours. (must have armor equipped)
Lesser -- Voidsense- gain blind-fight feat and +6 to listen checks for 24 hours. (must have armor equipped)
Greater --
Enervating Shadow- Gain concealment and drain strength of enemies for 5 rounds. (needs more testing, the test mod I'm using keeps giving me undead)
Dark -- Path of Shadow- Become ethereal, movement speed increase, and regeneration. (went with 20hp every minute instead of full every hour)

Also creating new rows for my versions of spells that are completely different from the ones Obsidian did. (word of changing, flee the scene, and dark foresight) Mine are pretty much pnp, but others may like the other version better. Plus I think Kaedrin is wanting to fiddle with those spells too, so mine will have (SV) in front of them.

Warlock evocations are found only in complete mage, complete arcane and the spell compendium.

I already have a lot of the spells fixed for warlocks. Flee the scene, hideous blow, eldritch glaive.
Others are on the vault i beleive.

@Brian- Some of these invocations are on the vault by other authors. The main reason I am doing it however is many of those packs do not play well with others. Others have not been updated in over a year. I will take a look at the scripts. For those that do not want to join a PW, may I add them to this pack?
@Dragon & LadyD- Thank you, but I have found most if not all of the invocations. NTB was kind enough to send me all of that. What I cannot find in books are the feats listed on that web page. Are they not in books? |

Ok, here's a list of the feats I've got done and tested:
Master of the Elements: 1. 10 Resistance to all elements (stacks with the warlock resistance) (permanent) 2. summon a random elder elemental 3. dominate elemental
Shadow Master 1. Immunity to ability/level drain and negative energy (to mimic immunity to shadow school) 2. Streaking shadows is a party effect, gives all allies close enough to you concealment 3. Instead of Shades (because this is a subradial feat) this is a more powerful version of spell mantle
Verminlord 1. Summon 10 swarms of centipedes that do magical damage instead of physical plus poison. (adding dominate vermin would mess up the targeting UI for the spell. if requested, will add as a seperate feat)
Morpheme Savant 1. Power Word Blind 2 Power Word Stun 3. Power Word Kill
If using beguiling influence- bonus= double charisma mod.
Paragon Visionary 1. True Seeing 2. Bonus to listen & spot skills= 6 or wisdom mod x2 (these are permanent)
This is a list of the invocations that will be added:
Disembodied Hand - Lesser - open/close doors at a distance. (Trying to set it where you can pull levers as well.)
Devil's Whispers - Greater - Dominate with a 25% chance of driving the target insane (attacks anything).
Warlock's Call - Greater - This is a gambler's spell. There are 8 effects total- you are the target of all of them. The bad stuff? No save.
1. Summon Erinyes 2. Charisma +6 3. Constitution +6 4. True Seeing 5. Damage Reduction 5/- 6. 1d10 magic damage 7. Stunned 8. Insane (attacks anything) |

I would like to see the following invocations:
- Nightmares Made Real: You can create an illusion of nightmarish terrain, and anyone who does not make their will save to disbelieve becomes entangled, and takes 1d6 per round. Regardless of if they passed their will save, everyone within gains concealment. The illusion lasts one round per level, and you can only create one area at any given time.
- Painful Slumber of Ages: You put a creature to sleep. If they are woken by dispelling or being struck, they take damage equal to your invoker level.
- Steal summoning You can take control of another caster's summonned creature. This control lasts as long as you maintain concentration on it, and thereafter the summon reverts to its previous master's control.

Thanks. Sounds cool. I'll get to work on those soon. Most of the feats are pretty much DONE. If you guys and gals see a point in dark transient, it could be done too. Just finished the line of fiendish flamewreath feats. This is a variant to the regeneration feat.
If anyone wants to help out and do some of the icons, that would be great. I don't like doing graphics at all. And what fun is making content if you don't enjoy it?
Wandering Kaedrin's forums, this was brought to my attention- the HfW fire resistance is broken. Already fixed that. May add a couple of player1's fixes while I'm at it.
This is to the folks that want me to augment Selea's pack: No. After looking through the scripts, it seems s/he pretty much rewrote the core code that everyone uses. Meaning the major functions will not, well, function.
I did attempt to incorporate her pack at first, but after a few short tests and only a day of using it, it was removed from my pack.
It doesn't work with anyone else's work. This means there is no point in redoing the 2das to make it "friendly" with other packs such as LadyDesire or Kaedrin because her scripts will break those packs and viceversa. |

The new version's up- fully tested with Kaedrin & LadyD's packs.
The only invocation requested that got done was Steal Summoning. Unless you're stealing an elemental swarm, the duration will last longer than the summon.
The others...and *ahem* Caustic Mire.. will need some custom code. Shouldn't be too difficult, but I need to do some school work too.
I'm having thoughts about the epic feats... The versions any epic warlock (or any combo of PrCs that has 8d6 blast dice) can take. But I was thinking instead of requiring spells, maybe have stat requirements and/or feat requirements. Thoughts? |
