[Q] What's CACP (Cyphre's Animal Companion Pack)? [A] CACP is a modification for Neverwinter Nights 2, that tries to accomplish the following goals: +(1) Adding new Animal Companions (Version 0.69 includes the following new Animal Companions: Arctic Boar, Arctic Wolf, Hammerhead Shark, Highland Snake, Mako Shark, Mountain Lion, Polar Bear, Snow Leopard & Wolverine). +(2) Enhancing already existing Animal Companions (for Druids, Rangers and Clerics [with the Animal Domain]) to be more powerful/useful (while staying as close to PnP as possible). +(3) To introduce/add an aging/growing system for Animal Companions (Version 0.69 includes 3 'visible' steps (Young, Juvenile & Adult) and adds a 'true' size-category change (with all advantages/disadvantages) when reaching adulthood). +(4) Enhancing/adding some new textures/effects such as Glowing Eyes. +(5) Offering stuff/resources, that also could be useful for module/pw creators.

At the moment they work exactly like the other companions, but of course people just should use them when they are underwater . Anyway.. for future releases of this pack, there are different ideas in the air how to handle them such as: -making it impossible to use them while not being underwater (some kind of terrain-type-recognition would be needed) -spawn marine creatures on land in a VFX bubble of water (idea by Hellfire59) -Disable them by default and only give them to characters for underwater scenes via a feat (module creators), which will be removed again, when they leave underwater scenes _________________ My Builds @ nwn2db, My Mods, IWD II Characters @ nwn2db |

Updates: -Fixed a small 'bug' regarding the hen_companion.2da (forgot to set some 0s) -Added Animal Companion descriptions -Added a new Panther portrait [optional] -Added 4(3) (new) Animal Companions (Tiger, Snow Tiger, [Deinonychus] & Megaraptor) (all available from the 1st level and without having to take any feat) -Fixed the wrong HD-progression on all Animal Companions -Changed the claws of the Panther from brown to (shiny) grey/black

Time for another little update.. well not exactly an update, but anyway.. I created a little page, where the progression tables for the Animal Companions in my pack are/will be released.. (so far there is only the Deinonychus-, Megaraptor-, Snow Tiger- & Tiger-table, but the others will follow over the next couple of days!!).

is it just me or do other people also have blank boxes on the animal selection screen? and if so.. how can that be fixed? |

Hi, Icy_Hot.. have you downloaded and installed all three .zip files? (CACP_v0.70_Beta.zip, CACP_v0.70_Beta_Update_1.zip & CACP_v0.70_Beta_Update_2.zip) and 'exactly' followed the installing instructions of the readme?
